Mnarani Beach Cottages is located in the village of Nungwi on the northern tip of Zanzibar.
Owned and usually hosted by our good friend Nassor, this friendly guesthouse offers reasonable quality, modestly priced accommodation in a relatively quiet location above the beach to the east of the village.
From the reception the path leads past a very nice pool area to the restaurant and on to the beachfront bar.
The original standard rooms are at the centre of the plot, with two storey suites beyond. Newer rooms are contained in a three storey block to the north side, whilst four apartments are tucked in back.
Mnarani Beach Cottages is a really pleasant little place where people "arrive as guests and leave as friends". Sounds like a real marketing line, but there is certainly some truth in it.
